ACC reveals plan for new Application Engineering Center in Kaiserslautern
Hello Germany!
We are happy and proud to announce yet again a new milestone in ACC's young history: the creation of an Application Engineering Center for ACC, in Kaiserslautern!
The engineering of our future process in the Gigafactory, and the engineering of our future products for German customers will be undertaken in this new facility, in permanent contact with the teams in Bruges (Product Design) and Nersac (Process).
The new Application Engineering Center will allow us to support local industrial and research work, in conjunction with the German laboratories with which we will work, and to provide technical support to the teams in Kaiserslautern during the whole phase of preparation / start of production in the Gigafactory.
“As the energy transition gathers pace and the EV battery sector continues to thrive, our need to expand our product portfolio to support the global renewable energy market calls for a higher innovation rate and closer proximity with the local teams and German laboratories we will be working with.
We’re delighted to continue to expand our presence in Germany, and to further build our reputation as a leading provider of batteries for the European sector by investing in this new facility. We’re also pleased to continue our investment in bringing new jobs to Kaiserslautern.” said Yann Vincent, CEO of ACC
Our proposed facility is strategically located near the future Gigafactory in Kaiserslautern and the first job openings are already advertised on ACC’s career page.
